Heidi Skok is a sought-after voice teacher for the great singers of tomorrow. In addition to her full studio at New England Conservatory (Boston, MA), Heidi has students at the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program at the Washington National Opera (Washington, DC) and in her private studios in New York. Skok taught at the New School University on the Voice Faculty of the Actors Studio MFA Program and at Bennington College, in Bennington, VT. Recently, she was a member of the Voice Faculty at the Intermezzo Foundation Opera Festival in the Tampa, Florida area. Skok's students sing at such opera houses as New York City Opera, Washington National Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Chautauqua Opera, Steans Institute at the Ravinia Festival, and Santa Fe Opera. Many students have won prizes in competitions including the Jenson Competition, The Center for Contemporary Opera competition, The Sullivan Foundation and the Neue Stimmen competition as well as the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions. In 2004, mezzo-soprano Claudia Huckle, a Skok student, was a Metropolitan Opera Grand Finals winner. NEW! Two exciting new ways to learn:
